Communion and confirmation days are one of the things we do most. The van arriving is usually the part of the day the child talks about afterwards — and it lands right in the gap between the church and the meal, when everyone is standing around waiting.

Timing it right

The sweet spot is usually straight after the ceremony, when the family are back at the house and the photographs are being taken. Half an hour of the van keeps the children occupied while the adults get a cup of tea in peace.

Tell us your ceremony time when you book and we will work the arrival around it.

Booking early matters here

Communion and confirmation season is concentrated into a handful of Saturdays in April and May, and every school in the area is on the same dates. Those weekends go first — often months ahead.

If you know your date, send it to us now even if nothing else is decided. We would rather hold it for you than turn you away in April.

Photographs that last

Parents tell us the pictures of the child at the hatch in the communion outfit are the ones that end up framed. The van is bright, the light is usually good, and everyone is dressed up. It photographs well.

Communions & Confirmations — the usual questions

Can you do two houses on the same day?

Often yes — we run three vans, and communion Saturdays are exactly what the extra vans are for. Tell us both addresses and times and we will see what works.

Do you do confirmations as well as communions?

Yes, identical setup and identical pricing. Confirmation crowds tend to be a bit older and eat a bit more, so Silver or Gold is usually the better fit.
