A sports day is a long afternoon standing in a field, and by the second hour the crowd needs something. The van at the side of the pitch solves that for players, siblings and the parents doing the watching.
Club finals and community games
GAA finals, soccer blitzes, athletics days and community games — anywhere a crowd gathers around a pitch for a few hours. We park somewhere sensible out of the way of play and work through the queue between matches.
Sports days are priced the same way as schools: €200 covers the first 80 cones or slush over half an hour, then a set rate per cone after that. That means a big turnout does not blow the budget.
Running it as a fundraiser
A lot of clubs book us as a fundraiser rather than a cost. There are a few ways to structure it depending on whether you want to sell tickets in advance or take money at the hatch on the day.
Ring us and we will talk through what has worked for other clubs rather than guessing at it here.
Weather and timing
Sports days move. If yours gets pushed a week for a waterlogged pitch, tell us as early as you can and we will do our best to move with you.

Can you park beside the pitch?
As long as the ground is firm enough and the club is happy for us to be there. On a wet week we may need to stay on hard standing — tell us what the surface is like and we will plan for it.
What happens if it is a much bigger turnout than expected?
That is exactly why sports days are priced per cone after the first 80. We keep serving and you pay for what goes out.
