Ice Cream Van Hire for Weddings
A wedding is the one booking where the van is not really about the ice cream. It is about the moment guests walk out and find something they did not expect — and the sound of a jingle in a hotel courtyard does that better than almost anything.
When to put us in the day
Two moments work best. The first is the drinks reception, while the couple are away being photographed and the guests are looking for something to do. The second is the evening lull, after the meal and before the band gets going, when people need air and something to talk about.
Weddings get a full hour rather than the 30 to 45 minutes of the party packages, because guests drift out in waves rather than forming one queue.
What is included
The wedding package is 100 99's or slush with an hour of serving time. If your numbers are well above that, tell us and we will price it properly rather than have you run out halfway through.
Talk to your venue first
Almost every venue will say yes, but they will want to know in advance. Check where they are happy for the van to sit and whether there is a time they would rather we did not run the jingle. Once you have that, we work around it.
Our vans are fully insured and registered with the HSE, and we can send the paperwork straight to the venue if they ask for it.

Will the venue let you park on the grass?
That is their call, and it usually depends on the weather that week. Ask them, and give us the answer before the day so we are not working it out on arrival.
Can you match the van to our colours?
The vans are purple, gold and white and that does not change — but we can talk about toppings, cones and how the serving area is dressed. Ask us when you book.
