The date and a phone number are the only things we really need — everything else just helps us quote you accurately first time.
Before you ask
You might find it here
How much does it cost to hire an ice cream van?
Packages start at €150. What you pay depends on how many people you are feeding, how long you want us there, and how far we are travelling. Bronze covers 40 cones in 30 minutes, Silver covers 45 guests in 40 minutes, and Gold is an open menu for 50 guests over 45 minutes. Weddings, schools and street parties are priced separately.
What areas do you cover?
Louth, Meath and all of Dublin, plus everywhere in between. Drogheda, East Meath and North Co. Dublin are our lowest travel band. The Dublin Northside and city centre are the middle band, and the Southside is the highest. Anywhere further — north Louth, the Cooley peninsula, inland Meath — just call or text and we will quote you.
How long do you stay?
Between 30 and 45 minutes depending on the package, and a full hour for weddings. That is serving time, not including setting up and packing down. If you want us longer, ask and we will price it.
Are you insured and registered?
Yes. Our vans are fully insured and registered with the HSE, and all staff are trained. Schools and corporate clients can have the paperwork in advance — just ask.
What is actually on the van?
Traditional soft-serve and 99's, sundae cups, twin cones, slush, candy floss, popcorn, sweets, crisps and soft drinks. The Gold package is an open menu, so guests take whatever they fancy.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can. Communion and confirmation season, school sports days and summer weekends go first — those dates are often gone months ahead. Midweek and off-season is usually easier.
Do you need power or anything on site?
No. The van is self-contained. All we need is somewhere safe and legal to park with enough room to open the hatch, and reasonable access to get in and out.
Can you do a fundraiser?
Yes — we do these regularly for schools, clubs and community groups. There are a few ways to structure it depending on what suits you. Ring us and we will talk it through.
What about waste and the environment?
We run a green package for street parties and community events with no waste or rubbish left behind. Get in touch directly for the details.
What if it rains?
We still turn up. The van serves from a hatch and the queue is the only thing exposed, so a shower rarely stops anything. If the weather is genuinely severe, talk to us as early as you can.
