Ben's Ices adds a third van to the fleet
Three vans on the road means more events on the same day and better coverage across Dublin, Meath and Louth.
We are growing. Ben's Ices has added a third ice cream van, which means we can cover more events, schools and street parties across Dublin, Meath, Louth and everywhere in between.
Demand for van hire has climbed steadily over the last few years — school visits, weddings, corporate days and community festivals. Two vans could not always keep up, particularly on a communion Saturday when half the county is celebrating on the same afternoon.

The new van has been resprayed into the same purple, gold and white livery as the other two, so whichever one turns up it looks like the one you booked.
The good dates still go early — communion Saturdays and summer weekends especially. But with three vans we can say yes a lot more often than we used to.
What the third van actually changes
The honest answer is scheduling. A single van can do maybe three or four bookings on a good Saturday, and they have to be geographically sensible — you cannot serve Portrane at two and Blanchardstown at three. Two vans doubles that but still forces awkward choices in May. Three means we can run one on the Fingal coast, one around Drogheda and East Meath, and one into the city on the same afternoon.
It also means a large event can have two vans side by side. For a school of 400 or a festival, two hatches roughly halves the queue, which matters more than people expect — nobody remembers the ice cream fondly if they stood in line for forty minutes to get it.
